FUNERAL DETAILS FOR TORONTO'S LAST HOMICIDE VICTIM OF 2009 AND COMMUNITY ANTI-GUN ADVOCATE KENNETH GODFREY MARK.

Kenneth Mark was on his way to work Tuesday at about 9:45 p.m. when he stepped into a pizza parlour on Dundas Street near Runnymede Road. He left the pizzeria and headed north on Gilmour Avenue to the Wal-Mart outlet, where he was a night manager, police said. Two suspects were waiting for him as he left, police said, and shot him from behind. The family will be making appeals to the public in helping solve the murder of their loved one and identifying a "person of interest" in a police video.

Mark was a well loved Manager at mega retailer Walmart and a community Liason/ anti-crime advocate and activist for safer gun free communities. He had no criminal record and was listening to music on his headphones when he was gunned down.
