5PM VIGIL FOR THE ONE YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF THE MURDER OF ADRIAN MITCHELL JOHNSTON MAY 11TH 2010

The family of Adrian Mitchell Johnston are remembering the one year anniversary of his shocking murder on it's first anniversary. Their 14-year-old good, impeccable son was callously shot and killed in a hydro field near Scarlett Road and St.Clair Avenue shortly after 5pm on Monday May 11th 2009. Neighbours said they heard three shots and told police they saw a man in dark clothing and a green baseball cap running away.

Adrian was Toronto's 18th homicide of 2009. Please do not forget Adrian TODAY? He was the youngest victim of homicide in 2009. Adrian was an INNOCENT Child. We must continue to put the faces of the dead in the news and never forget them. Stephanie Johnston, his mother is inviting members of the public, his friends, classmates and media to a vigil in his memory at the same site.

LOCATION: Dundas and Scarlett road, Toronto, Ontario TIME: 5pm prompt Please be there. We must remember Adrian today and everyday. May he rest in PEACE!!

The family is ALSO appealing to the public to help them by using Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if they have any information on who killed Adrian. We are also asking that they call Detective Brian Borg directly too at 416-808-7400 with any tips. We thank you the public, police and media for your continued partnership in Crime Stoppers."
